DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the official web site of World Wide Digi DX Contest.\nWW Digi is a collaboration between the World Wide Radio Operators Foundation (WWROF) and the Slovenia Contest Club (SCC).\nStarts: Saturday August 30 12:00:00 UTC\nEnds:  Sunday August 31 11:59:59 UTC\nI. OBJECTIVE: For amateurs around the world to contact as many other amateurs in as many Maidenhead Grid Fields as possible using the FT4 and FT8 modes.\nII. BANDS: Six bands only: 1.8, 3.5, 7, 14, 21 and 28 MHz.\nA. FT4 recommended sub-bands:\n1.840-1.844\n3.580-3.589\n7.080-7.089\n14.080-14.089***\n21.080-21.089\n28.080-28.089\nSet the radio dial at the bottom of the sub-band and work stations on audio frequencies within the radio passband, typically 2.5-4 kHz wide. If a sub-band becomes crowded, move the radio dial frequency up in 3 kHz increments, as needed. (For example: 7.080, 7.083 and 7.086)\nB. FT8 recommended sub-bands:\n1.844-1.848\n3.590-3.599\n7.090-7.099\n14.090-14.099\n21.090-21.099\n28.090-28.099\nSet the radio dial at the bottom of the sub-band and work stations on audio frequencies within the radio passband typically 2.5-4 kHz wide. If a sub-band becomes crowded, move the radio dial frequency up in 3 kHz increments, as needed. (For example: 7.090, 7.093 and 7.096)\n*** Please note that 14.080 Mhz is the standard “everyday” FT4 20-meter frequency. In order to avoid confusion with non-contest stations, it may be better to use 14.083 Mhz.\nC. JA sub-bands on 80 meters:\nFT4: 3.570\nFT8: 3.573\nIII. CONTEST EXCHANGE: 4-character Grid Square.\nIV. SCORING:\nA. Score: The final score is the sum of QSO points across all bands multiplied by the sum of 2-character Grid Fields across all bands. Example: 1000 QSO points * (70 Grid Fields) = 70,000 (final score).\nB. QSO Points: QSOs are scored only once per band, either FT4 or FT8. QSOs are one (1) point plus one (1) point for each 3000 km between Grid Square centers of the QSO partners. (e.g., 5541 km = 2 points). Short-path distances are used, regardless of actual signal path.\nC. Multipliers: A multiplier of one (1) for each different 2-character Grid Field contacted on each band.\nV. ENTRY CATEGORIES:\nA. Single Operator Categories: One person (the operator) performs all operating and logging functions. There is no limit on band changes. QSO finding assistance of any kind is allowed.\n1. Single Transmitter (SINGLE-ONE): Only one transmitted signal on one band is permitted at any time.\na. High Power (All Band or Single Band): Total output power must not exceed 1500 watts.\nb. Low Power (All Band or Single Band): Total output power must not exceed 100 watts.\nc. QRP (All Band or Single Band): Total output power must not exceed 5 watts.\n2. Multi-Transmitter (SINGLE-UNLIMITED): All-band operation only. The six contest bands may be activated simultaneously.\na. High Power: Total output power must not exceed 1500 watts on any band at any time.\nb. Low Power: Total output power must not exceed 100 watts on any band at any time.\nc. QRP: Total output power must not exceed 5 watts on any band at any time.\nB. Multi-Operator Categories (all-band operation only): Any number of operators is allowed.\n1. Single Transmitter (MULTI-ONE): Only one transmitted signal on one band is permitted at any time. The transmitted signal may make a maximum of 8 band changes per clock hour (00 through 59 minutes).\na. High Power: Total output power must not exceed 1500 watts on any band at any time.\nb. Low Power: Total output power must not exceed 100 watts on any band at any time.\n2. Two Transmitters (MULTI-TWO): A maximum of two transmitted signals on two different bands may be used at any time. The log must indicate which transmitted signal made each QSO. Each transmitted signal may make a maximum of 8 band changes in any clock hour (00 through 59 minutes). Total output power must not exceed 1500 watts on any band at any time.\n3. Multi-Transmitter (MULTI-UNLIMITED): The six contest bands may be activated simultaneously. Total output power must not exceed 1500 watts on any band at any time.\n
